About Henry A. Wade
A life given to the church
Pastor. Teacher. Equipper. For over two decades, Henry A. Wade has devoted himself to the health and growth of the local church — one congregation, one leader, one sermon at a time.
Rooted in the Word. Shaped by the church.
Henry A. Wade came to faith as a young man and felt an immediate call to serve the church. That call has never wavered. Over the course of more than twenty years in pastoral ministry, Henry has served congregations of every size — from small rural churches to large urban fellowships — always with the same conviction: the local church is the hope of the world.
Trained in biblical theology and pastoral ministry, Henry brings a rare combination of scholarly depth and pastoral warmth to everything he does. His preaching is marked by careful exposition, genuine compassion, and a relentless focus on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Beyond the pulpit, Henry has invested deeply in the equipping of church leaders. Through conferences, workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and written resources, he has helped hundreds of pastors and ministry workers grow in their calling and their craft.
I have never found a more beautiful, more broken, more necessary institution than the local church. It is worth every ounce of effort we can give it.

The heart of this ministry
Why this ministry exists
Henry A. Wade Ministries was founded on a simple conviction: that the church of Jesus Christ is worth strengthening, that its leaders are worth equipping, and that the gospel of Christ is worth proclaiming — clearly, faithfully, and without apology. Every resource, every speaking engagement, every article produced by this ministry flows from that conviction.
